END OF STAY / CLEANING

Summary of Check Out

The studio must be ready to be handed over to the next guests by 1:00 PM.

Please remember that you may share the keys with the arriving guests (see the Check-in where I explain the arrangements).

The studio must be left clean and tidy.

We will have a WhatsApp video call to check the general condition of the studio.


End-of-stay cleaning / deposit :

I ask you to be very vigilant on this point.

Cleaning expectations can vary greatly from one person to another, and remember that when you arrived, you assessed the level of cleanliness left by the previous guests. The next guests will do the same and may be more demanding than you were.

Cleaning deposit:
Cleaning service providers at the resort charge between €70 and €300 depending on the overall condition of the studio and the urgency. I may have to retain the deposit in the event of a clear failure to meet the cleaning requirements in order to arrange the necessary service.

But rest assured, I know the general condition of the studio and I will be able to distinguish between a lack of cleanliness on the part of a tenant and an issue related to the maintenance of the studio itself.

To provide clear guidelines regarding cleaning, thank you for ensuring the following:

In the bathroom:
Empty the small trash bin, clean the toilet bowl, clean the shower, sink, and countertop, and clean the floor.

In the kitchen area:
Make sure the countertop is clean, dishes are washed and put away, shelves are clean, oven and microwave are clean, fridge is emptied and cleaned, and thoroughly clean the raclette and fondue appliances if you have used them.

In the living room:
Tidy it as it was when you arrived. Thoroughly clean and fold the table.

Beds:
Remove any crumbs from the beds, as well as any hair. Put the bedspreads back as shown in the photo below and place the folded duvets and pillows in the wardrobe.

Floor:
Vacuum the entire surface and mop the main room and the bathroom.

A WhatsApp video call will allow us to carry out a quick check of the property’s condition.

Trash

Trash can be disposed of in the garbage room, which is the black door located on the left immediately after exiting the driveway.

Glass bottles must be taken to the recycling containers located in the parking area below the residence. If you have a large amount of trash, you may also dispose of it in the containers provided for this purpose.


When leaving

  • Please fold the chairs and the table.
  • Turn off the electricity if I have asked you to do so.
  • Let me know if there has been any damage or breakage so that I can arrange for replacements. Don’t worry — everyone ends up breaking a plate or a glass at some point…
  • Before leaving, please check around to make sure you haven’t forgotten anything. As I am not on site, any forgotten belongings will likely be collected by the next guests (or the guests after them), and I cannot guarantee that I will be able to return them to you.

Close up and return the keys to the lockbox, and don’t forget to scramble the lockbox code.



Please also remember that you may leave your luggage, but the keys must be shared with the arriving guests. Thank you for leaving them in the lockbox if you plan to go skiing.
