FAQ English

One week before your arrival, you will receive by message a link to the welcome booklet that gives you all the practical information about the studio you’ve rented in Arc 1800, in the Charvet neighborhood.

You probably have questions to prepare your trip or simply to confirm you made the right choice.

Here is a small selection of the most frequent asked questions that my guests ask before or after booking. Please have a look, and call me at +33 6 98 26 25 66 if you have any other questions.

Location of the studio

The studio is located in the heart of the Charvet neighborhood, close to shops and practically at the foot of the slopes. To view it on a map (Allée des Terrasses), see here.

Parking

There are several parking options for your car: a covered car park or outdoor car parks lower down on the Arc 1800 road (see the map above).

For vehicles not equipped for snow, you can park your car in Bourg‑Saint‑Maurice (funicular parking) and take the funicular up, then the shuttle to Arc 1800 (you’ll receive all the details when I send the practical information for your stay).

These car parks are not free ( about €100 per week in winter) and you should previously booking them.

When making a reservation, select the Arc 1800 resort and your residence “Miravidi.”

Shops

You’ll find many restaurants, grocery stores, and sports shops at 200 m from the studio.

Storing skis

There is no ski locker in the residence. Skis can be brought inside and stored behind the door. They can be placed on a plastic tray to catch melting snow and avoid flooding the studio.

Arrival / Departure

The keys will be waiting for you in a key safe accessible 24/7.
The information needed to retrieve the keys will be sent one week before your arrival.

If the studio is occupied on your arrival or departure day, it should be vacated by 1:00 p.m. The departing guest must clean so that arriving guests can take possession of a clean studio. We will do a webcam to check that the studio is clean.

On arrival and departure days, departing guests are asked to allow incoming guests access to the studio to leave their luggage—and vice versa for those departing—so that everyone can make the most of their arrival and departure days. Please remember to leave the keys in the secure box if you need to step out.

Beds

  • One sofa bed 130×190 for 2 people
  • Two trundle beds in the living room (90×200)
  • Two bunk beds in an alcove (90×190)

Duvets, blankets, and pillows are provided in the studio, but please remember to bring your own bed and bath linen, or rent them (see next section).

Linen rental

You can rent linen from “All Services Montagne.”

Price is about €20 for a single bed, €28 for a double bed. It’s a bit more expensive if you also rent towels.

Please check their website (and be mindful of the shop’s opening hours for picking up your linen based on your arrival time).

Studio equipment

You’ll find a Senseo coffee machine (bring your pods), a kettle, raclette and fondue sets, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, and a dishwasher (bring your tablets).

There is all the necessary tableware, and condiments if previous guests haven’t used them up.

There are also cleaning products for housekeeping, a vacuum cleaner, and a mop.

End‑of‑stay cleaning

Cleaning must be done at the end of your stay. The inventory/inspection will be done via WhatsApp video.

In case of non‑compliance, a cleaning deposit may be withheld (see below).

Deposit

  • For Airbnb guests, the deposit is covered by Airbnb. There is nothing to do.
  • For others (direct booking, Booking, etc.), I will send you a link to Swikly.com that allows you to register a bank‑card imprint. Nothing will be charged, but a deposit of €300 may be held for up to two weeks after the end of your stay in case of damage or insufficient cleaning requiring third‑party intervention, or any other incurred expense.
